Welcome to the consultation website introducing proposals to redevelop the Island Site in Woolwich to provide around 500 co-living units with some shared facilities and 20 new homes. The scheme will also include flexible retail and office space as well as new public areas for Woolwich. Planning approval and listed building consent has previously been granted for a mixed-use development on the site including around 300 homes, for approximately 800 people. The new scheme will retain more of the existing buildings, than the previously consented scheme. This application has been submitted to the Royal Borough of Greenwich and can be viewed under reference 22/3162/F (click to view in a new window).
We have held Q&A consultation events for residents to take part and find out more. You can now watch the recordings and share your view.-
